Bad Weather Policy

 

It is the policy of Vilhauer Enterprises LLC to remain open during most periods of inclement weather; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, due to weather or other unforeseen business interruptions, the company reserves the right to close the office. The company will post the closure on the company website under Links/Bad Weather Notice by 8am on the day in question.

Regardless of whether the office remains open or closed on an inclement weather day, it is each employee’s decision to determine if they can safely arrive at the office.  If you elect not to travel to the office, please call your supervisor prior to 8am on the day in question advising of your decision to stay home.  It is recommended you work from home, however, if you prefer to take the time off as a vacation day, you will need to notify your supervisor and submit a Time Off Request once it is possible to return to the office.
